Software %##!!&%!!

Mostly I love it but sometimes I hate it

My most common comment to people who are frustrated with their computers is “Software is the maze and we are the rats.” Or, as I’ve heard elsewhere, “Computers don’t always do what we want them to do…but they always do what we tell them to do.” [Only we weren't sufficiently omniscient to know that's what we were telling the computer to do.]

My ‘most-desired new feature’ for software would be a ‘STOP RIGHT NOW’ key that instantly halted whatever process I had accidentally or inadvertently started. Then it’s companion key ‘UNDO’ would put everything back the way it was.
